It's The Famous Five, and The Secret Seven, not The Fantastic Five.

The Fantastic Four are a comic book series (not written by Enid Blyton)

I'm glad to finally find somebody who isn't part of the Jodi Piccoult cult. I made the mistake of calling her the Danielle Steele of the 2000s at the office...not good.

Hi there!

Thanks for your kind words about my zine! Not sure if you got the previous comment I tried to post? Just wanted to say I really like your blog. Anyone that calls themselves a nerd in some way shape or form is alright in my books! ;)

I've had 'The Blind Asasisn' for ages but have never read it. I always seem to pick another book over it. When I finally do get to read it, I will let you know if it makes my top ten!

Cheers!

So what did you make of the book? I found myself thoroughly entertained but none the wiser by the end of it. I think you are right when you talk about Japanese inspired literature being so different to anything we produce in the west. The whole idea of story, characters and humour is totally different.

I love your blog. I love that it is focused on what you love not the daily crap or craplessness of life. I stopped blogging a few months ago since I was realizing my blog was focusing on what an almost bad Mom I was since I let my child wreak havoc around the house and then I would lament on my blog about it, trying to make it light and funny but in reality, I just sucked at motherhood. So I was ready to get back into it. I missed spilling my guts and having my opinions stated no matter who was or wasn't reading. You have inspired me to focus and for that I thank you.
